Sad news everyone, the master of Stop-Motion animation, Ray Harryhausen has passed away today.  Ray Harryhausen was inspired by King Kong, and would go on to inspire future directors of two to three generations.  His works include:

1) Mother Goose Stories

2) Mighty Joe Young

3) The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms

4) It Came from Beneath the Sea

5) The Animal World

6) Earth vs. The Flying Saucers

7) 20 Million Miles to Earth

8) The 7th Voyage of Sinbad

9) The 3 Worlds of Gulliver

10) Mysterious Island

11) Jason & The Argonauts

12) First Men in the Moon

13) One Million Years B.C.

14) The Valley of Gwangi

15) The Golden Voyage of Sinbad

16) Sinbad & The Eye of the Tiger

And Finally...  17) Clash of the Titans

In 1992, Ray Harryhausen received an Lifetime Achievement Award at the Oscars, Tom Hanks said that night, "Some people believe that Casablanca or Citizen Kane is the greatest movie of all time, but to me it's Jason & The Argonauts."  Jason & The Argonauts is Ray Harryhausen's favorite movie.  To me it's a tie between Jason & The Argonauts and Clash of the Titans.  Ray we will miss you R.I.P.
